TV Premiere Highlights Coming To Disney+ UK In April 2024

Spring has officially sprung and Disney+ continues to fulfil your ‘Wish’ for lots of new content across every genre. There is a new drama ‘Tracker’, a great docuseries for Bon Jovi fans, the return of Ryan Murphy’s FX anthology series ‘Feud’, a selection of new nature shows to celebrate “Earth Day”, and some new reality series. Here is what’s coming to Disney+ in April 2024.

Disney+ Originals & UK Exclusives – April 2024 Highlights

VANDERPUMP VILLA – 1st April 2024 (Reality Series)

Decadence and debauchery collide in “Vanderpump Villa,” an unscripted docu-drama following Lisa Vanderpump’s hand-selected staff as they work, live, and play at an exclusive French estate: Chateau Rosabelle.

WISH – 3rd April 2024 (Movie)

In this animated musical-comedy, Asha, a sharp-witted idealist, makes a powerful wish that’s answered by Star, a ball of boundless energy. Soon, Asha and Star must face a formidable foe and prove that one brave human can make wondrous things happen.

TRACKER, SEASON 1 – 3rd April 2024 (Drama Series)

The series stars Justin Hartley (This Is Us, Smallville) as Colter Shaw, a lone-wolf survivalist who roams the country as a reward seeker, using his expert tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement solve all manner of mysteries while contending with his own fractured family. The series is based on the bestselling novel The Never Game by Jeffery Deaver.

RESTAURANTS AT THE END OF THE WORLD – 3rd April 2024 (NatGeo Series)

Kristen Kish learns from chefs who overcome the formidable challenges required to serve memorable meals in the most remote outposts on Earth.

THE FABLE – 3rd April 2024 (Animated Series)

“The Fable” is the story of a legendary hitman who has completed numerous jobs for a variety of clients. After concluding his latest assignment, the number of people Fable has recently killed is drawing too much attention and he is ordered by his boss to lay low for a year or face deadly consequences. Thus begins Fable’s one-year sabbatical from the underworld and the challenges he faces adapting to life as an “ordinary” citizen.

GOING FUR GOLD – 10th April 2024 (NatGeo Series)

Devoted owners and their beloved cats, rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs and alpacas strut their stuff in animal competitions across America.

THE GREATEST HITS – 13th April 2024 (Movie)

Harriet (Lucy Boynton) finds art imitating life when she discovers certain songs can transport her back in time – literally. While she relives the past through romantic memories of her former boyfriend (David Corenswet), her time travelling collides with a burgeoning new love interest in the present Justin H. Min). As she takes her journey through the hypnotic connection between music and memory, she wonders – even if she could change the past, should she?

FX’S FEUD: CAPOTE VS THE SWANS – 17th April 2024 (Drama Series)

FEUD: Capote Vs. The Swans tells the story of acclaimed writer Truman Capote, once a confidante to society’s most elite women, whom he nicknamed “the swans.” However, his act of betrayal effectively destroyed those relationships, banished him from high society and sent him into a spiral of self-destruction from which he would ultimately never recover.

SEE YOU IN ANOTHER LIFE – 17th April 2024 (Series)

This series is adapted from the book by Manuel Jabois’ “Nos vemos en esta vida o en la otra” (We’ll Meet in This Life or the Next). Based on the interview he conducted with Gabriel Montoya Vidal (“Baby”) in 2014, it tells of his involvement in the worst Jihadi terrorist attack on European soil in March of 2004. At the time of the attack, Baby was a sixteen-year-old who helped transport the explosives that would be used in Madrid on March 11, 2004. Baby was the first person to be sentenced for the attack. His evidence was vital in the mega-trial held in 2007.

Hazen Audel battles waterfalls, deadly swamps and freezing terrain as he climbs over the Andes.

HIGH HOPES – 20th April 2024 (Reality Series)

“High Hopes” is a workplace reality series following Belarus-born brothers Slava and Mishka, and their stoned crew through the trials and tribulations of taking their cannabis business to new heights. As one of the oldest cannabis dispensaries in Hollywood, MMD attracts a wild mix of weed-loving customers and is a home away from home for their OG employees who work hard and smoke harder! This season builds to their biggest day of the year – 4.20 – as the gang attempts to expand nationwide and release their own top-shelf cannabis brand. Will they find what they’re looking for or will their hopes go up in smoke?

THANK YOU, GOODNIGHT: THE BON JOVI STORY – 26th April 2024 (Docuseries)

Thank You, Goodnight is a four-part, all-access series chronicling the epic past and uncertain future of the iconic band Bon Jovi. A 40-year odyssey of rock ‘n roll idolatry on the precipice as a vocal injury threatens to bring everything to a halt.

SECRETS OF THE OCTOPUS – 22nd April 2024 (Nature Series)

DISNEYNATURE’S TIGER – 22nd April 2024 (Nature Series)

Priyanka Chopra Jonas narrates the compelling story, which lifts the veil on our planet’s most revered and charismatic animal, inviting viewers to journey alongside Ambar, a young tigress raising her cubs in the fabled forests of India. In the film, the cubs – curious, rambunctious and at times a bit clumsy – have a lot to learn from their savvy mother who will do all she can to keep them safe from pythons, bears and marauding male tigers.
