Sky has released a trailer for Mr Bigstuff, a new Original comedy from Ryan Sampson (‘Brassic’, ‘Plebs’), which stars Sampson alongside Danny Dyer, set to premiere this July on Sky Max and streaming service NOW.

‘Mr Bigstuff’ is a relatable, irreverent comedy about brotherhood, manhood and carpet sales in Essex. When two estranged brothers Glen (Sampson) and Lee (Dyer) find themselves under one roof in “idyllic” suburbia, their lives start to unravel faster than a cheap carpet.

Glen and his fiancée Kirsty share a perfect, perfectly mundane life together. Sure, Glen’s got crippling erectile dysfunction and Kirsty (Harriet Webb) has a secret shoplifting habit, but they’re happy. That is until Lee comes crashing into their lives, whilst on the run from a past that’s quickly catching up with him. The trio are forced together: a perfectionist, a fantasist and an anarchist all living under the same roof in an Essex cul-de-sac.

The series is created by and stars Ryan Sampson (Brassic, Plebs) as Glen, with Danny Dyer (EastEnders) as Lee, in his first comedy role. The cast also includes Harriet Webb (I May Destroy You, Big Boys) as Kirsty, alongside Adrian Scarborough (Bloods, Gavin & Stacey, Killing Eve), Fatiha El Ghorri (Outsiders), Ned Dennehy (Culprits, Outlander), Victoria Alcock (Bad Girls, EastEnders), Geoff Bell (Absentia, The Curse), Nitin Ganatra (EastEnders), Judi Love (Strictly Come Dancing, Taskmaster) and more.

Executive Producers are Anil Gupta for Sky Studios, Tom Miller and Sam Myer for Water & Power Productions. The series was created and authored by Ryan Sampson. Executive Producer Matt Lipsey directs with Hayley Sterling with Sky Studios producing.

Mr Bigstuff‘ will premiere on Sky Max and on streaming service NOW in July 2024. If you want to keep track of this or any other show, you can add it via our Never Miss system, and you’ll be notified when it gets a UK premiere date.
