Apple has set an October premiere date for supernatural psychological thriller limited series ‘Before‘, starring and executive-produced by Billy Crystal.
The drama stars Crystal as Eli, a child psychiatrist who, after recently losing his wife, Lynn (Judith Light – ‘Transparent’), encounters a troubled young boy, Noah (Jacobi Jupe – ‘Peter Pan & Wendy’), who seems to have a haunting connection to Eli’s past. As Eli attempts to help Noah, their mysterious bond deepens.
Alongside Crystal, multi-Emmy and Tony Award winner Light and Jupe, the mystery series stars Academy Award nominee Rosie Perez (‘The Flight Attendant’), Tony Award nominee Maria Dizzia (‘Orange Is the New Black’) and Ava Lalezarzadeh (‘In the Garden of Tulips’).
The limited series comes from Paramount Television Studios, and is created by Sarah Thorp (‘The Bounty Hunter’). Thorp serves as showrunner, writer and executive producer. Crystal executive produces alongside Eric Roth (‘Killers of the Flower Moon’, ‘Dune’), pilot director Adam Bernstein (‘Silo’, ‘Billions’) and producing director Jet Wilkinson (‘The Chi’, ‘Truth Be Told’).
‘Before‘ premieres Friday, 25th October 2024 on Apple TV+ worldwide.
