Good news Earpers! Sky Sci-Fi and streaming service NOW have picked up the ‘Wynonna Earp: Vengeance‘ 90-minute special to air in the UK.
The show, which originally ran for 4 Seasons, follows Wynonna Earp, Wyatt Earp’s great-granddaughter, as she battles demons and other creatures. With her unique abilities and a posse of dysfunctional allies, she’s the only thing that can bring the paranormal to justice.
The feature-length episode sees Melanie Scrofano (Wynonna herself), Tim Rozon (Doc Holliday), Dom Provost-Chalkley (Waverly Earp), and Katherine Barrell (Nicole Haught) all return, along with some other familiar faces.
In the movie, Wynonna Earp – spicy, hard-living, demon-slaying anti-heroine and great-great-granddaughter of legendary lawman Wyatt Earp – must return, once again, to her hometown of Purgatory to battle her greatest foe yet: a psychotic villainess hellbent on revenge against Wynonna… and everyone she loves.
Paolo Barzman, who directed many episodes of the series, helms the drama which was written by the show’s creator and executive producer, Emily Andras. It is produced by Seven24 Films in association with Cineflix Studios. Seven24’s Jordy Randall and Tom Cox with Cineflix’s Peter Emerson and Brett Burlock serve as Executive Producers along with Todd Berger and Rick Jacobs.
‘Wynonna Earp: Vengeance‘ is currently scheduled to premiere Wednesday 25th September 2024 at 9pm on Sky Sci-Fi & NOW in the UK (although, bear in mind, that isn’t technically a “locked date” until next Wednesday, so could move.)
UPDATE (11/09/204): Well, as I mentioned, September wasn’t a locked date, and they’ve just bumped the ‘Wynonna Earp: Vengeance‘ UK premiere back to mid-October 2024… If you want to keep track of this or any other show, add it via our Never Miss system, and you’ll be notified when it gets a UK premiere date.
