TV SHOWS

Mr Bigstuff, Season 2

BAFTA-winner Danny Dyer (Rivals) returns alongside series creator Ryan Sampson (Brassic, Plebs) and Harriet Webb (Big Boys, I May Destroy You) in the second series of Sky’s hit comedy Mr Bigstuff. The first series earned acclaim as Sky Max’s highest-rated new comedy in three years — and now, the dysfunctional family drama continues.

Set in suburban Essex, Series 2 picks up just two weeks after the shocking revelation that the brothers’ dad is still alive. While Lee (Dyer) and Glen (Sampson) react very differently to the news, they’re soon thrown together again on a chaotic mission to find him. Meanwhile, Kirsty’s in charge of both boardroom and bedroom affairs, but one misplaced kiss and a looming blackmailer could derail everything. Expect fiery confrontations, gut-busting laughs, and that trademark Essex chaos.

S.W.A.T., Season 8

Shemar Moore returns as Hondo for the explosive final season of S.W.A.T. (before Hondo heads for the new spin-off...) In this last run, the elite tactical unit faces personal and professional trials, including a tense case involving the disappearance of students and a school bus driver with a direct link to Hondo’s past. Also joining the team is Devin Gamble (played by Annie Ilonzeh), a cop with a complicated family history that casts a shadow over her future.

Fire Country, Season 3

The heat is back on as Max Thieriot returns as Bode Leone in the third season of Fire Country. Now a free man, Bode continues to battle Northern California’s wildfires with Cal Fire while navigating life, love, and redemption. The stakes have never been higher, and the flames never fiercer, in this action-packed drama.

Hill

This moving Sky Original documentary tells the extraordinary story of Damon Hill, who in 1996 followed in the footsteps of his legendary father Graham Hill to become a Formula 1 World Champion. Hill is more than a sports biography — it’s a multi-generational story of resilience, tragedy, legacy, and triumph, set against the high-octane backdrop of Formula 1. A must-watch for motorsport fans and anyone moved by underdog victories.

MOVIES

Wicked

Sky Cinema brings the beloved musical to life in this spectacular film adaptation. Cynthia Erivo (Harriet, Broadway’s The Color Purple) stars as Elphaba, a misunderstood young woman with green skin who discovers her power and destiny. Opposite her is pop superstar Ariana Grande as Glinda, whose desire for popularity leads her down a darker path. A must-see reimagining of the Oz legend filled with music, magic, and friendship.

William Tell

A gritty historical epic set in 1307, this retelling of the legendary Swiss folk hero William Tell sees him pulled into rebellion after being forced to shoot an apple off his son’s head. With stunning battle scenes and emotional stakes, William Tell offers a riveting tale of resistance, honour, and fatherhood.

Nicholas Hoult plays Justin Kemp, a juror caught in an ethical storm when he realises he has crucial information that could alter the verdict of a high-profile murder trial. Will he reveal the truth — or protect his own secrets? A gripping legal thriller that keeps you on the edge.

Kraven the Hunter

The origin story of one of Marvel’s most iconic villains comes to life with Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the title role. Facing off against his father (Russell Crowe) and the wilds of the natural world, Kraven becomes a fearsome predator with a brutal moral code. Prepare for savage action and layered villainy.

Strange Darling

A psychological horror that defies expectation, Strange Darling follows a one-night stand gone violently wrong as a serial killer emerges. A twist-filled descent into madness starring Willa Fitzgerald and Kyle Gallner.

Sacramento

Michael Cera and Michael Angarano star in this heartfelt road trip dramedy about friendship, grief, and growing up (eventually). With support from Kristen Stewart, Sacramento captures the joy and tension of confronting the past while driving toward an uncertain future.
