Paramount+ has officially given the green light to ‘SkyMed‘ Season 4, with production set to take off later this summer. The renewal also marks a major first: Paramount+ Canada will now co-produce the hit series alongside CBS Studios and Piazza Entertainment.
The intense medical drama, which follows a group of young medics and pilots working air ambulance missions across the vast wilderness of Northern Canada, continues to mix high-stakes rescues with emotional storylines, all set against a breathtaking aerial backdrop.
Returning for the new eight-episode season are Natasha Calis (Nurses) as Hayley, Morgan Holmstrom (Outlander) as Crystal, Mercedes Morris (Ghosts) as Lexi, Sydney Kuhne (Ginny & Georgia) as Stef, and Aaron Ashmore (Ginny & Georgia) as Wheezer. Additional casting is expected to be announced in the coming months.
Created by Julie Puckrin and inspired by her own family’s real-life experiences in air ambulance work, SkyMed will once again film in North Bay, Ontario and locations across Manitoba. The series is distributed globally by Paramount Global Content Distribution and will stream exclusively on Paramount+ in the US, Canada, UK, Latin America, Brazil, Australia, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
‘SkyMed‘ Season 4 premieres later in 2025, exclusively on Paramount+. If you want to keep track of this or any other shows, you can add them via our Never Miss system, and you’ll be notified when it gets a UK premiere date.
