‘Ghosts US’ is back to haunt your screen in the best way possible, as the hit American comedy returns for a fourth season in the UK on BBC iPlayer this July.
The series follows freelance writer Samantha (played by Rose McIver – iZombie, Once Upon a Time) and her husband Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar – Free Guy, The Mindy Project) who left city life behind to convert a crumbling old country estate into a B&B… only to find it crawling with chatty, charming and very dead residents. Following a near-death experience, Sam can now see and hear ghosts, which makes for plenty of spirited chaos.
Alongside Samantha and Jay, the core cast includes Brandon Scott Jones (The Good Place, The Other Two) as Isaac, Danielle Pinnock (Young Sheldon, Get Shorty) as Alberta, Rebecca Wisocky (For All Mankind, Devious Maids) as Hetty, Devan Chandler Long (Barbarian, Doom Patrol) as Thorfinn, Richie Moriarty (What We Do in the Shadows, Search Party) as Pete, Román Zaragoza (Ghosts US) as Sasappis, Sheila Carrasco (I Think You Should Leave, Jane the Virgin) as Flower, and Asher Grodman (Succession, The Blacklist) as Trevor.
The new season begins with the fallout from Isaac being taken by Puritan ghost Patience, who resurfaces and forces him to face the past. Sam reconnects with her estranged father Frank, the ghosts stage a Halloween witch trial, Trevor’s fake job leads to a messy work retreat, Hetty’s ghost power is revealed during a St?Patrick’s Day gathering, Sasappis explores a romance with a visiting 1940s screenwriter, and a new guest, Kyle, arrives who can also see ghosts. From haunting humour to heartfelt moments, Season?4 brings fresh twists to life at Woodstone Manor.
Season?4 of ‘Ghosts US’ is produced by CBS Studios in association with Lionsgate Television and BBC Studios’ Los Angeles production arm.
