Sky has unveiled the second official teaser for the upcoming original drama series ‘IT: Welcome to Derry’, which will premiere on Sky and streaming service NOW this October in the UK.
Developed for television by Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti (IT, IT Chapter Two, The Flash) and Jason Fuchs (IT Chapter Two, Wonder Woman, Argylle), the series dives deeper into the terrifying world first established in the blockbuster films. Andy Muschietti, who directed the two feature films, will also return to helm multiple episodes of the series.
Set within Stephen King’s iconic “IT” universe, the series expands on the story told in King’s original novel, exploring chilling new corners of Derry and uncovering more of its dark history.
The cast includes Taylour Paige (Zola), Jovan Adepo (Watchmen), Chris Chalk (Perry Mason), James Remar (Dexter), Stephen Rider (Daredevil), Madeleine Stowe (Revenge), Rudy Mancuso (Música), and Bill Skarsgård (IT), who reprises his iconic role as Pennywise.
Developed for television by Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, and Jason Fuchs, the series also boasts an impressive production team, including Brad Caleb Kane, David Coatsworth, Bill Skarsgård, Shelley Meals, Roy Lee, and Dan Lin as executive producers. Fuchs, who penned the teleplay for the first episode, and Kane will serve as co-showrunners.
