The camera crew behind Dunder Mifflin is back… sort of! The official trailer has landed for The Paper, a brand-new US mockumentary series heading to Sky and NOW in the UK this September.

Created by Greg Daniels (The Office (US)) and Michael Koman (Nathan for You), ‘The Paper’ follows the documentary team that once filmed the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin. Now they’ve turned their lenses on a struggling, historic Midwestern newspaper, and the publisher is determined to breathe new life into it.

Leading the cast is Domhnall Gleeson (The Patient), joined by Sabrina Impacciatore (The White Lotus), Chelsea Frei (The Moodys), Melvin Gregg (Nine Perfect Strangers), Gbemisola Ikumelo (Brain In Gear), Alex Edelman (Teenage Bounty Hunters), Ramona Young (Man Seeking Woman), Tim Key (The Ballad of Wallis Island), and Oscar Nuñez reprising his role from ‘The Office (US)’.

The series is executive produced by Greg Daniels, Michael Koman, Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, Howard Klein, Ben Silverman, and Banijay Americas (formerly Reveille), and hails from Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group. The show was acquired for Sky by Katie Keenan and Lucy Criddle.

Sky has also confirmed that ‘The Office (US)’ will remain available for Sky and NOW customers, perfect for a rewatch before diving into this new chapter of mockumentary mayhem.

The Paper‘ Season 1 premieres Thursday, 5th September 2025 on Sky and NOW in the UK.
