
Paramount+ has confirmed that ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ will return for its fourth season this October, with Jeremy Renner (The Avengers, Hawkeye) reprising his role alongside Edie Falco (The Sopranos, Nurse Jackie). First-look images from the new season have also been released, giving fans a taste of what’s to come.
The gritty crime drama, co-created by Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone, Tulsa King) and Hugh Dillon (Flashpoint), is produced by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions.
In season four, Mike’s grip on Kingstown is under threat as new players move in to fill the void left by the Russians, sparking a dangerous gang war. With the people he cares about in more danger than ever, Mike must also navigate tensions with a headstrong new Warden, while battling demons from his past.
Alongside Renner and Falco, the cast includes Lennie James (The Walking Dead), Laura Benanti (Younger), Hugh Dillon, Taylor Handley, Tobi Bamtefa, Derek Webster, Hamish Allan-Headley, and Nishi Munshi.
The series is executive produced by Sheridan, Dillon, Renner, Antoine Fuqua (Training Day), David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Michael Friedman, Dave Erickson (Fear the Walking Dead), Christoph Schrewe, Wendy Riss, Evan Perazzo, and Keith Cox. Erickson also serves as showrunner.
Seasons one through three are streaming now on Paramount+, and the series joins Sheridan’s ever-expanding slate on the platform, which also includes Landman, 1923, Lioness, Tulsa King, 1883, Lawmen: Bass Reeves, and the upcoming Nola King starring Samuel L. Jackson.
