Disney+ has unveiled a first look at ‘The Beauty‘, the stylish new FX thriller from executive producer Ryan Murphy, arriving this January in the UK. Blending glossy high fashion with gruesome mystery, the series follows a disturbing string of supermodel deaths that pulls two FBI agents deep into a conspiracy stretching across Paris, Venice, Rome and New York.
In ‘The Beauty’, the fashion world becomes a crime scene when models begin dying in horrific and unexplained ways. FBI Agents Cooper Madsen, played by Evan Peters (American Horror Story), and Jordan Bennett, played by Rebecca Hall (Godzilla vs Kong), are dispatched to Paris to investigate. Their search uncovers a sexually transmitted virus that transforms ordinary people into flawless versions of themselves, only with lethal side effects.
Their investigation soon points toward The Corporation, led by shady tech billionaire Ashton Kutcher, played by Ashton Kutcher (Two and Half Men), who has engineered a so called miracle drug known as The Beauty. Determined to protect his empire, he unleashes his deadly enforcer, The Assassin, portrayed by Anthony Ramos (In the Heights).
Caught in the chaos is Jeremy, portrayed by Jeremy Pope (Hollywood), a desperate outsider searching for meaning as the epidemic spirals out of control.
The cast is stacked with guest stars, including Amelia Gray Hamlin, Ari Graynor, Bella Hadid, Ben Platt, Billy Eichner, Isabella Rossellini, Jaquel Spivey, Jessica Alexander, Jon Jon Briones, John Carroll Lynch, Julie Halston, Lux Pascal, Meghan Trainor, Nicola Peltz Beckham, Peter Gallagher and Vincent D’Onofrio.
The series is created and written by Ryan Murphy and Matthew Hodgson, with Murphy, Hodgson, Peters, Ramos, Pope, Eric Kovtun, Scott Robertson, Nissa Diederich, Michael Uppendahl, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Gitter, Peter Schwerin and Jeremy Haun serving as executive producers. It is based on the comic book by Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley, with Hurley consulting.
‘The Beauty‘, Season 1 premieres Thursday, 22nd January 2026 on Disney+ UK, and on Wednesday, January 21st 2026 on Hulu in the USA.
