Netflix has cracked open the briefcase once again as The Lincoln Lawyer returns this February, bringing Mickey Haller back behind the wheel for what promises to be his most personal case yet. The hit legal drama is gearing up for a high-stakes fourth season on Netflix UK, and yes, Mickey’s trademark cool may be tested more than ever this time around.

Season 3 ended with a jaw-dropper, but fans won’t be left idling for long. Inspired by Michael Connelly’s novel The Law of Innocence, the new season throws Mickey into unfamiliar territory. This time, he is not defending a client. He is the client. As co-showrunners, Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez put it, “the stakes have never been higher”. That shift sets the tone for a season packed with the show’s usual twists, charm and tightly wound courtroom chaos as Mickey fights to clear his name.

Humphrey promises the season opens by laying out exactly what charges Mickey is facing, along with the adversaries determined to bring him down. He also describes Season 4 as the “most personal case” Mickey has ever taken on, with old allies, new enemies and unexpected faces weaving through the story as Mickey tries to hold together his freedom, career and family.

Netflix has released a batch of first-look images, teasing everything from tense courtroom encounters to emotional heart-to-hearts. There is also a glimpse of newcomer Constance Zimmer stepping into the legal arena, which is especially exciting given her character’s reputation in the district attorney’s office.

Season 4 will once again run for ten episodes and aims to answer the big question left hanging in Season 3 — what happens to Mickey now that the police have taken a hard look at the trunk of the Lincoln?

Who is returning for Season 4?

Fan favourite Manuel Garcia-Rulfo is back as Mickey Haller, joined once again by Becki Newton (Lorna), Jazz Raycole (Izzy), Angus Sampson (Cisco), Neve Campbell (Maggie McPherson), Elliott Gould (David “Legal” Siegel) and Krista Warner (Hayley Haller).

They will be joined by a trio of high-profile new faces. Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother, Marvel Cinematic Universe), Sasha Alexander (The Morning Show, Shameless) and Constance Zimmer (UnREAL, Entourage) are all stepping into Season 4, each bringing fresh energy and a few secrets of their own.

Zimmer appears as Dana Berg, a relentless prosecutor known as “Death Row Dana”, which gives you a sense of how thrilled Mickey is to be up against her. Alexander joins as FBI Agent Dawn Ruth, an intimidating presence whose arrival spells trouble for Mickey. Meanwhile, Smulders’ role is still under wraps, although her involvement alone has sent fans into excited speculation.

There are further additions too, including Kyle Richards as Celeste Baker, Scott Lawrence as Judge Stone, Jason Butler Harner as Detective Drucker, Emmanuelle Chriqui as Jeanine Ferrigno, Jason O’Mara as Jack Gilroy, Javon Johnson as Carter Gates and even a cameo from world-renowned chef Nancy Silverton as herself.

With this many moving pieces, Season 4 looks ready to shift up a gear and send Mickey flying into the most unpredictable legal battle of his career.

The Lincoln Lawyer‘ Season 4 premieres Wednesday, 5th February 2026 on Netflix UK and worldwide.
