ITV is set to bring a dose of glossy suburban intrigue to ITVX in early 2026 with ‘Grosse Pointe Garden Society‘, the dark U.S. thriller from acclaimed creators Jenna Bans and Bill Krebs. The series will debut exclusively on ITVX, with a linear broadcast on ITV2 to follow.
Set within the pristine, tightly managed world of an affluent suburban garden club, ‘Grosse Pointe Garden Society’ centres on Alice played by AnnaSophia Robb (Dr. Death), Birdie played by Melissa Fumero (Brooklyn Nine Nine), Catherine played by Aja Naomi King (How to Get Away with Murder), and Brett played by Ben Rappaport (For the People). Their carefully curated lives begin to unravel when they are bound together by a dark secret, namely a murder none of them is willing to speak about.
As the scandal deepens, the series peels back the immaculate surface of suburbia to expose fractures in friendships, marriages, and personal identities. Blending emotional tension with layered mystery, the drama explores the cost of perfectionism, the pressure to perform normality, and the corrosive power of secrets left to fester.
The 12-episode first season was filmed at Assembly Studios in Doraville, Georgia, and features a strong supporting cast including Alexander Hodge (Insecure), Nancy Travis (The Kominsky Method), Matthew Davis (The Vampire Diaries), and Felix Wolfe (Jury Duty). Stylish and psychologically charged, the series offers a sharp take on the suburban thriller genre.
It is worth noting that ‘Grosse Pointe Garden Society’ was cancelled in the U.S. after one season, meaning the ITVX run will present the complete series.
‘Grosse Pointe Garden Society’ premieres Sunday, 11th January 2026, on ITVX in the UK.
