Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Trailer Teases Jessica Jones’ MCU Return As War With Fisk Begins

by Dave Elliott

Daredevil: Born Again is heading back to the streets of New York this March, and Marvel has now dropped a brand-new trailer for Season 2, teasing an even darker, more brutal chapter of the Disney+ series.

The new footage sets the tone immediately. With Wilson Fisk firmly entrenched as Mayor of New York, the city appears to be sliding deeper into chaos. Matt Murdock is once again forced into the shadows, as survival, resistance and redemption collide in what Marvel is billing as its most intense street-level drama yet.

The series is created by Dario Scardapane, Chris Ord and Matt Corman, and once again stars Charlie Cox (She-Hulk: Attorney at Law) as Matt Murdock, alongside Vincent D’Onofrio (Hawkeye) as Wilson Fisk. Returning cast members include Deborah Ann Woll (True Blood) as Karen Page, Ayelet Zurer (Angels & Demons) as Vanessa Fisk, Wilson Bethel (Hart of Dixie) as Benjamin Poindexter, and Margarita Levieva (The Deuce) as Heather Glenn.

One of the biggest reveals in the trailer is the long-awaited return of Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), reprising her fan-favourite role as Jessica Jones and officially bringing her back into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The season also introduces Matthew Lillard (Scream) as the mysterious Mr. Charles, whose role is being kept tightly under wraps for now.

Season 2 follows Fisk as he tightens his grip on New York City, branding Daredevil public enemy number one. While the Kingpin wages his war in public, Murdock fights back quietly, determined to dismantle Fisk’s corrupt empire and reclaim his city. The official tagline sums it up perfectly: Resist. Rebel. Rebuild.

Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 premieres Wednesday, 25th March 2026 on Disney+.
