‘Silo’ Unveils First Teaser For Season 3 As Apple TV Sets July Return

by Dave Elliott

Apple TV has released the first teaser and first-look images for Silo, confirming the acclaimed sci-fi drama will return this July for its third season.

Created by Graham Yost and based on Hugh Howey’s bestselling trilogy, ‘Silo’ continues to be one of Apple’s standout genre series, and Season 3 looks set to push the story into much bigger territory. While the new run picks up with the fallout from Juliette’s escape and the rebellion inside the silo, it will also begin to reveal how this world came to exist in the first place.

In the present-day timeline, Juliette Nichols, played by Rebecca Ferguson (Dune, Mission: Impossible), survives her forced cleaning but returns with memory loss as the silo struggles to recover and faces a dangerous new threat. At the same time, the story heads back to the “Before Times”, where journalist Helen Drew, played by Jessica Henwick (Glass Onion, Iron Fist), and Congressman Daniel Keene, played by Ashley Zukerman (Succession, City on Fire), uncover a conspiracy that sparks a chain of catastrophic events.

Returning cast alongside Ferguson includes Common (The Chi), Harriet Walter (Succession), Chinaza Uche (A Good Person), Avi Nash (The Walking Dead), Alexandria Riley (The Road Trip), Shane McRae (Sneaky Pete), Remmie Milner (Save Me), Rick Gomez (Band of Brothers), Billy Postlethwaite (The Great), Clare Perkins (EastEnders), and Steve Zahn (The White Lotus). Joining for Season 3 are Laura Innes (ER), Jessica Brown Findlay (Downton Abbey), Morven Christie (The Bay), Reed Birney (House of Cards), and Matt Craven (Sharp Objects), with Colin Hanks (Fargo) also set to recur.

There is also the added weight of knowing the series is now moving towards its endgame. Apple previously renewed ‘Silo’ for a fourth and final season, meaning this new chapter is not just expanding the mythology, but helping set up the final run of episodes that will bring the adaptation of Howey’s trilogy to a close.

From the teaser alone, Season 3 looks like it is shifting the mystery onto a larger canvas, moving beyond what is happening inside the silo and towards the question of how this entire nightmare began.

Silo’ Season 3 premieres Friday, 3rd July 2026 on Apple TV.
