Silo Season 3 Trailer Lands As Apple TV’s Dystopian Sci-Fi Drama Returns This July

by Dave Elliott

Apple TV has released the trailer for the third season of Silo, the globally acclaimed sci-fi drama starring and executive produced by Rebecca Ferguson (Dune), as the series prepares to head back underground this July.

Based on Hugh Howey’s bestselling trilogy, ‘Silo’ is set in a vast underground structure housing 10,000 people, all living under strict rules and under the shadow of one huge question: what actually happened to the world outside? After two seasons of secrets, rebellion, brutal power plays and one very stressful trip beyond the silo walls, season three looks set to expand the story in a major way.

The new 10-episode season reveals an origin story set centuries earlier, while also continuing the fallout from Juliette Nichols’ journey in the present. Having survived her forced “cleaning”, Juliette returns with memory loss as the silo attempts to recover from rebellion, only to find itself facing a dangerous new threat. Meanwhile, in the “Before Times”, journalist Helen Drew and Congressman Daniel Keene uncover a conspiracy that pulls them into a chain of events with catastrophic, irreversible consequences. So, you know, a relaxing little underground drama…

Rebecca Ferguson (Dune) returns as Juliette Nichols, alongside Common (The Chi), Harriet Walter (Succession), Chinaza Uche (Dickinson), Avi Nash (The Walking Dead), Alexandria Riley (The End of the F**ing World*), Shane McRae (Sneaky Pete), Remmie Milner (Save Me), Rick Gomez (Band of Brothers), Billy Postlethwaite (Chernobyl) and Clare Perkins (EastEnders).

Joining the cast for season three are Ashley Zukerman (Succession) and Jessica Henwick (The Matrix Resurrections), who appeared in the season two finale, along with Laura Innes (ER), Jessica Brown Findlay (Downton Abbey), Morven Christie (The Bay), Reed Birney (House of Cards) and Matt Craven (Sharp Objects). Colin Hanks (Fargo) is also set to recur, with Steve Zahn (The White Lotus) returning.

The series comes from Emmy Award winner Graham Yost (Justified), who serves as showrunner and executive producer. ‘Silo’ is produced by Apple Studios, with Yost executive producing alongside Michael Dinner, Nina Jack, Joanna Thapa, Ferguson, Morten Tyldum, Hugh Howey, Amber Templemore, Fred Golan, Rémi Aubuchon and AMC Studios.

Apple has already renewed ‘Silo’ for a fourth and final season, meaning the show is now heading firmly into endgame territory. The complete first and second seasons are available to stream now on Apple TV.

Silo’ Season 3 premieres Friday, 3rd July 2026 on Apple TV.
