‘My Life with the Walter Boys’ Season 3 Gets August Premiere As Netflix Renews Drama For Season 4

by Dave Elliott

Netflix has confirmed My Life with the Walter Boys will return for its third season this August, while fans can relax knowing the teen drama has already been renewed for Season 4.

The new season picks up directly after the dramatic Season 2 finale, which saw Cole and Jackie finally declare their love for one another, only for Jackie’s boyfriend Alex to overhear the whole thing. Unfortunately, there was little time to deal with that particular emotional hand grenade, as an ambulance arrived to take George to hospital.

“Everyone’s reality has shattered a little bit, and they’re picking up the pieces of that and trying to put it back together again,” teases Ashby Gentry (Are You Afraid of the Dark?), who plays Alex.

Season 3 sees Jackie, Cole and Alex attempting to deal with the fallout, while also figuring out what they actually want from their lives.

Alex throws himself deeper into the world of rodeo riding, becoming the youngest member of a team filled with older professional riders. His growing success also brings plenty of new attention, although the pressure of competing at that level may prove difficult for a 16-year-old to handle.

Cole, meanwhile, trades the football field and auto shop for the racetrack after drag racer Mac spots his natural talent behind the wheel. Creator, showrunner and executive producer Melanie Halsall says racing gives Cole a new outlet for the adrenaline rush he previously found through football.

Jackie also begins embracing a more confident version of herself. Having spent much of her life trying to please everyone around her, Season 3 will see her finally begin putting her own needs first, while continuing her work to develop a new community space for Silver Falls.

“Jackie has never put herself first, ever,” explains Nikki Rodriguez (On My Block). “I think that manifests in her being such a perfectionist people pleaser all the time and ultimately not making the decisions she wants to make. She tries to be this perfect version of herself and thinks about what everybody else wants. For the first time this season, she does start to put herself first.”

Of course, this is Silver Falls, so Jackie making a decision about her romantic future is unlikely to be straightforward. Cole and Jackie are both carrying considerable guilt over Alex overhearing their declaration, while the brothers must confront years of rivalry and resentment.

Despite everything that has happened, Cole and Alex were once extremely close, with Halsall describing them both as competitive “adrenaline junkies”. Season 3 will explore whether their shared concern for their family can finally cut through the tension between them.

Returning cast members include Nikki Rodriguez (On My Block) as Jackie, Noah LaLonde (Criminal Minds) as Cole, Ashby Gentry (Are You Afraid of the Dark?) as Alex, Sarah Rafferty (Suits) as Katherine and Marc Blucas (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) as George.

They are joined by Connor Stanhope as Danny, Jaylan Evans as Skylar, Corey Fogelmanis (Girl Meets World) as Nathan, Johnny Link as Will, Isaac Arellanes (Ghostwriter) as Isaac, Myles Perez as Lee, Alisha Newton (Heartland) as Erin and Mya Lowe (Yellowjackets) as Kiley.

Three new characters will also arrive in Silver Falls. Chad Rook (IT: Welcome to Derry, Joe Pickett) plays Mac, a drag racer who hires Cole to work on one of his cars before discovering the teenager’s skills behind the wheel.

Naveen Paddock (The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, Anything’s Possible) plays Eliot, Uncle Richard’s charming new intern whose arrival creates another connection between Jackie’s old life in New York and her new home.

Rounding out the newcomers is Erin Karpluk (Being Erica, Smoke) as Hannah, George’s free-spirited sister and the mother of Isaac and Lee. After leaving her sons with the Walter family and disappearing, Hannah suddenly returns with plenty of damaged relationships to repair.

Netflix has also handed ‘My Life with the Walter Boys’ an early fourth-season renewal. Season 4 is expected to premiere in 2027, meaning there should be plenty more romantic complications, family drama and cowboy hats on the way.

My Life with the Walter Boys’ Season 3 premieres Thursday, 6th August 2026 on Netflix. Season 4 will premiere in 2027. If I want to keep track of this or any other shows, I can add them via our Never Miss system, and I’ll be notified when it gets a UK premiere date. Visit Never Miss.
