‘Army of Shadows’ is a six-part drama from BAFTA award-winner Ronan Bennett (The Day of the Jackal, Top Boy), inspired by Jean-Pierre Melville’s 1969 film and Joseph Kessel’s novel. Set in a near-future authoritarian Britain under de facto American occupation, the series follows a former British army officer who builds a covert resistance cell from scratch, navigating betrayal, propaganda and moral compromise as young recruits fight to reclaim their country.
