‘Bosch: Start of Watch’ is a brand-new prequel series from MGM+, starring Cameron Monaghan (Shameless, Gotham) as rookie cop Harry Bosch and Omari Hardwick (Star Trek: Section 31, Army of the Dead) as veteran officer Eli Bridges. Set in 1991 Los Angeles, the drama follows Bosch during his earliest days on the LAPD as he navigates a city filled with racial tension, gang violence, and corruption — experiences that will shape him into the principled detective seen in ‘Bosch’ and ‘Bosch: Legacy’. The series is set to begin production in Los Angeles in 2026.
