The Inbetweeners’ Simon Bird and Joe Thomas team up with Jonny Sweet, a friend and long-time collaborator, to hatch this new comedy. The Great War is raging, but Cecil (Bird), George (Thomas) and Bert (Sweet) won’t be fighting the good fight with the rest of the men. Nope, for their own individual reasons, the trio will be staying put in the sleepy village of Rittle-on-Sea, much to the annoyance of the female residents. Barry Humphries, best known for alter-ego Dame Edna Everage, also stars.
