Set around a violent assault on the U.S. Embassy in London, the thriller follows Layla, a sharp American diplomat played by Anna Kendrick, who is forced into an impossible situation when armed mercenaries storm the building. She has to decide whether to protect the U.S. Ambassador, played by J.K. Simmons, or follow his orders to extract a high-value asset. Standing in the middle of all that chaos is Sam Heughan’s Connor Wright, Layla’s battle-hardened ex-fiancé, who ends up dragged into the crisis as the clock runs down.
