Hi was gutted too about Musketeers season 3 being cancelled on Saturday I stopped watching casualty and this should have been put back an hour or cancelled so we wouldn’t miss the new series as my dad and I both love watching Musketeers although Miliday DeWinter is going to be missed but great that it is back, even if it is the last season. We both think it is a shame that it is never nominated for an award as it’s well acted, funny if dark at times.
Typical of BBC1 as it got cancelled when shown on Friday for football and other stuff heres hoping it is still shown this Saturday or what is the point??
I enjoy Musketeers and ended up being depressed by watching 12 Years a Slave film on channel 4!

I don’t think it’s the last we’ve seen of Miliday DeWinter. The actress who plays her was pregnant during the filming of the first part of season three and the writers have said we will just have to wait and see what happens with her character. It’s such a great show and I hope they get the end it in a satisfying way, but the BBC’s scheduling has not helped the show in anyway from being cancelled.

Finally, returned date confirmed for 28th May at 9.30pm. Hope they keep to a regular time slot and not move it around in the Saturday scheduling. Also just a small note to GT, Marc Warren’s character Rochefort died at the end of season 2 and is not returning, so you might want to change in the additional airing notes. :)

They have already started mucking around with the times as they have cancelled episode 2 of Series 3 (4/6/16)

I know, all for a Mohamed Ali tribute. The BBC could have easily postponed showing Alice in Wonderland on BBC 2 and shown the Ali tribute there. I was really looking forward to the Musketeers last night, but hey, just have to wait until next week now.

Could they have not cancelled Casualty instead and shown both the Ali tribute and the Musketeers? It would not have been too much of a hardship – surely – to postpone an episode of a soap that has been running for as long as I can remember and show that in its usual slot next week?

I don’t think they would ever consider cancelling a showing of Casualty, but I totally agree with you, it wouldn’t hurt to postpone a show that’s been going since the 80’s for one week.

The third season has just started airing in Canada. By the time it broadcasts in the UK, most of the episodes will be available online. I know it’s a co-production with American investment, but I don’t get the BBC’s scheduling sometimes, you think we would have seen the new season first before other countries or at least at the same time.

I think its upsetting as a USA citizen to have to wait until June to see the second season of the Musketeers. I would like to see the BBC shows at the same time with every other country. Do something about this please. Its not fair!

Must remember to highlight this next time a Brit complains about not getting an American programme at the same time as America.

At any rate, as a USA citizen, you are almost certainly getting BBC shows sooner than most other countries.

No long wait from UK to US premiere dates this season! Season 2 premiered in the UK on Jan 2nd, and BBC America will get it on Jan 17th!

This is what we say when all those American shows are delayed an entire season in UK so they can be aired first in the US. Karma is a b****.

Hi I’m wondering did the muskerteers make a new season? If so when will it hit BBC America? I really enjoyed this show and I’m not a big tv fan.
