Set in the 1950s, decades before the events of Stranger Things, this live-action prequel explores a new era of supernatural mystery within the hit Netflix franchise.
Created by the Duffer Brothers and Kate Trefry, the series introduces an entirely new setting, alongside new heroes, villains and mysteries, expanding the mythology established in the original show. The story also takes place before the events of the stage play Stranger Things: The First Shadow, which explored Henry Creel’s troubled history in Hawkins.
