Inspired by the Sara Shepard (Pretty Little Liars) book series of the same name, The Lying Game follows long-lost twins Emma and Sutton. Separated under mysterious circumstances, Sutton was adopted by the wealthy Mercer family in Phoenix, while Emma grew up in the foster system. When the twins reunite as teenagers, they keep it a secret. While Sutton goes in search of the truth, Emma takes over her life and discovers more secrets and lies than she could have imagined.
Channel 5 seemed to have struggled getting the viewing figures for this show. Having originally aired on 5* in Jan 2012, they then stopped it halfway through. Then bought it back in Sept 2012… Then moved it to a lunchtime slot on 5USA… Which is what i’d term as ‘kicking it into the long grass…’ I’m dubious as to whether they’ll air the 2nd season at all, but there’s not official news yet.

Please bring the second series to the UK. We have watched the series that ended this May. The season finale has set up all sorts of interesting possibilities for who is the guilty party.
Im just started watching the lying game proba adictive on bt on demand hope i get to watch season 2
I love the Lying Game – and managed to find it despite Channels 5, 5* and 5 USA doing their best to hide it though I’ve not managed to see the very first episode. They MUST show season 2. How do they expect to get viewers when they don’t promote the show much ( I saw one advert which alerted me to a channel change or I’d have missed the restart completely) and keep messing around with it. I sit some sort of weird initiative test to prove the viewer is worthy?
I watched the 1st series & LOVED IT!! But only found the 2nd instalment purely by chance – how can C5 expect viewers if they don’t advertise???!!! Duh….
This is a great series……it would benefit from have a regular time slot. A little bit of promotion would go a long way. There are plenty of loyal fans! I am looking forward to season 2.
I really really hope we get a season 2.. i love the show and really cant wait for its return.. its a great show i miss it already!!
