Arrow’s Manu Bennett & Echo Kellum Press Interviews From MCM Comic Con London – May 2017

Continuing our Arrowverse videos from MCM Comic Con London, we have 2 more stars, this time from Arrow – Mister Terrific aka Echo Kellum, and Manu Bennett, aka the legend that is Deathstroke!

New Zealand born actor Manu Bennett first really hit our radar when he landed the role of Crixus in Starz epic gorefest ‘Spartacus’. However, it was the role of Deathstroke in ‘Arrow’ which really connected with fans, who were gutted to see him leave the series… But now, as we saw last week, he is back, and Ollie is looking for his help to bring down Adrian Chase, aka Prometheus, who’s teamed up with Talia and the League of Assassins… WARNING – there are some minor spoilers for the upcoming Arrow Season 5 finale in the video above!

Manu is also currently starring as the druid Allanon in The Shannara Chronicles, which airs on 5Star, but Season 1 can also be found on Netflix UK.

Echo Kellum joined ‘Arrow’ in Season 4 as Curtis Holt, who’s gone from Felicity’s work colleague to a hero in his own right, as Mister Terrific. He’s a graduate of LA’s famous comedy improv troupe ‘The Groundlings’, Chicago’s ‘iO West’, and ‘Upright Citizens Brigade’. He got his first major tv role as Tommy in ‘Ben and Kate’, with Dakota Johnson, but has also popped up on ‘Sean Saves The World’, ‘You’re the Worst’ and ‘Rick and Morty’.

In the interview he talks about Curtis’ relationship with husband Paul, where he sees the character going next season, and being the victim of John Barrowman’s infamous ‘suprise butt attacks!’

Arrow‘ airs on Sky 1 in the UK, and is due back for Season 6 in the Autumn.
