As we mentioned a few weeks ago, a report broke that it was Amazon who would be airing the long awaited time-hopping, Scottish based drama. It’s been out nearly a year in the US, but conspicuously absent from UK tv screens. To the annoyance of some of our Highland brethren who don’t have the best internet connections, it’ll still be missing from ‘traditional’ TV as it arrives to Amazon’s popular (but ridiculously named) streaming service.
Based on the novels by Diana Gabaldon, the show tells the story of a WW2 nurse who gets chucked back in time to 1743.
Outlander will be available from Thursday the 26th of March on Amazon Prime Instant Video with the first 8 episodes being added together, then each new episode being added weekly from 5th April, less then 24hrs after their US airing.
