In case you missed it over the weekend, Dave released the first full trailer for Red Dwarf XI, which premieres on the channel 22nd September at 9pm.
Chris Barrie (Rimmer), Craig Charles (Lister), Danny John-Jules (Cat) and Robert Llewellyn (Kryten) all return to the Jupiter Mining Corporation vessel for the first time since 2012, and it’s looking bigger and better than ever.
Judging by the trailer, Rimmer seems as ineffectual and cowardly as ever, Lister is back to tormenting him from the top bunk. Cat has a number of snazzy new outfits, and Kryten is… well… Kryten…
This season has Rimmer finally getting promoted to Officer, albeit through a fluke accident. Kryten suffering a mid-life crisis, and leaving the giant rouge one for a younger crew. Cat finding someone to love (other than himself), and Rimmer & Kryten ending up on a world where they are both illegal!
Red Dwarf XI premieres on Dave – 22nd September at 9pm, however if you can’t wait that long, the first episode is being dropped onto the UKTV Play streaming service on the 15th September!
