We got the news yesterday that season 7 of Pretty Little Liars will be its last, but hopefully this trailer may help slightly ease the pain. PPL creator I. Marlene King has teamed up with author Rebecca Serle to adapt her novel into a new show called Famous in Love, starring PLL’s Bella Thorne and you can see the trailer here.
The story follows Paige Townsen (Thorne), an ordinary college student, who tries out for one of the lead roles in the movie adaptation of a best-selling novel. Catapulted into the spotlight, she must now navigate her way through her new life as an overnight celebrity, and dealing with the undeniable chemistry she has with both her leading men. They are Jordan Wilder (Keith Powers – Straight Outta Compton), a ‘troubled star’ who has a complex relationship with the other male co-lead Rainer Devon (Carter Jenkins – The Following), one of People Magazine’s Sexiest Men Alive. There is also that troubling issue of a famous missing popstar, whose disappearance is shrouded in mystery…
