Bones Final Season Gets A January UK Premiere Date On Sky Living

The final season of Bones will air on the 16th January 2017 in the UK, Sky have announced, only a couple of weeks after the US. After 12 seasons, the long-running crime procedural is coming to an end with a shortened 12 episode run.

Bones stars Emily Deschanel as forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance ‘Bones’ Brennan, who works at the fictional Jeffersonian Institute Medico-Legal Lab. Together with her FBI partner and husband, Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz), they work on solving murder cases by examining the bodies and bones of the victims. Michaela Conlin, T. J. Thyne, Tamara Taylor and John Boyd also star.

The season 11 finale left Brennan at the mercy of a well-known, rather unhinged, ex-squintern, whilst Seeley is desperate to do anything to find her…

According to the synopsis, they are promising the final season will give a proper wrap up to the show, bringing the storylines of Brennan, Booth and the Jeffersonian-FBI team to a close, and allowing the show’s loyal fans to say goodbye to the characters. Over the course of the farewell season, you can expect deaths (obviously), a wedding, epic serial killer storylines and an undercover episode. They’re also promising the return of some fan-favourite guest stars, such as the brilliant Betty White, and the return of many of the ‘squinterns’.

Bones Season 12 will air on Sky Living, 16th January 2017
