‘Ray Donovan‘ will premiere in the UK just days after the US Sky Atlantic have announced, as Season 5 lands a UK premiere date of Wednesday, 16 August 2017.
US network Showtime also dropped a new trailer for ‘Ray Donovan’ Season 5 a few days ago, which sees Liev Schreiber’s ‘fixer’ on a path to becoming a much better husband and father after last season’s bloody battle with the Armenian mafia pushed him to reconnect with his forsaken faith. Although things are now getting better on the home front, work is a just getting more complex and dangerous than ever before…
This season introduces Susan Sarandon as media executive Samantha Winslow. She’s ruthless and shrewd business woman, who wants to hire Ray to keep tabs on her own ‘fixers’, whom she fears may know too much about her operation….
Meanwhile, Mickey (Jon Voight, in his Emmy-nominated and Golden Globe-winning role) has fled Los Angeles once again. He’s hoping to finally plant roots on his own terms and to begin anew, although, wherever Mickey goes, there is usually a scam, followed by Ray having to bail him out. Paula Malcomson, Eddie Marsan, Dash Mihok, Steven Bauer, Katherine Moennig, Pooch Hall, Kerris Dorsey and Devon Bagby also star.
