It’s been a while coming, but US Network ABC have dropped the trailer for their upcoming tv series, ‘Marvel’s Inhumans‘.
‘Marvel’s Inhumans’ explores the never-before-told epic adventure of the royal family led by Black Bolt (Hell On Wheel’s Anson Mount), the enigmatic, commanding King of the Inhumans, with a voice so powerful that the slightest whisper can destroy a city.
After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, seemingly led by Black Bolt’s younger brother Maximus (Iwan Rheon – Misfits, Game Of Thrones), they barely escape to Hawaii where they are greeted with surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them.
Now they must find a way to reunite with each other and return to their home before their way of life is destroyed forever.
Other Inhuman family members include cousin Gorgon (Eme Ikwuakor – Extant), leader of Attilan’s military, who has super strong legs, complete with hooves, and can generate destructive seismic waves with a single stomp. There’s also Black Bolt’s wife Medusa (Serinda Swan – Smallville, Graceland, Chicago Fire), who has the ability to move and control her hair the way most people use their hands and fingers.
Other cousins include Triton (Mike Moh – Empire, Street Fighter’s Ryu), who is a green scaled guy, with a fish-like ability to live underwater, and Karnak (Ken Leung – Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Person of Interest, Lost), Black Bolt’s cousin’s and his closest advisor, who has the ability to see the fault in all things, whether that be people, plans, or even structures.
Finally Crystal (Isabelle Cornish – Home and Away), the youngest member of the royal family, who has the ability to control the elements. She’s impetuous and independent but deeply devoted to her family… She also has Lockjaw… a 2,000 lb canine companion with the ability to teleport!
Interestingly, the trailer seems to imply the much touted 2 episode IMAX screenings/previews will be happening from 1st September 2017 worldwide, so check out your local IMAX for more information. Currently, there is no UK broadcaster announced for ‘Marvel’s Inhumans‘, but I strongly suspect someone will pick it up and announce prior to the IMAX launch, as it would be foolish to miss such a massive marketing opportunity!
