‘The Walking Dead’ Returns 23rd October On FOX UK
Fox UK have announced that ‘The Walking Dead‘ Season 8 will premiere in the UK and internationally on 23rd October 2017 across all FOX channels outside the U.S. in 180+ markets. The global day and date launch is within 24 hours of the series premiering on AMC in the U.S.
They’ve also dropped this new poster art featuring Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) staring each other down…
When we left the residents of the dystopian landscape, the show was heading into one of the biggest plotlines in the comic book – ‘All Out War’. Whilst the TV show does like to flip the story around a bit to keep tv & comic book fans guessing, you can bet it’s going to get bloody between Rick’s alliance, and Negan’s Saviors… For those of you who weren’t fond of the pace last season, there’s some good news too. According to showrunner Scott Gimple, this season is going to be “more kinetic and fast-moving” than we’ve seen before.
As in previous seasons, the ‘The Walking Dead‘ Season 8 includes 16 episodes and will air in 2 parts, with the first 8 episodes kicking off internationally on 23rd October 2017 and the final 8 returning February 2018.
