SDCC: Marvel’s ‘Iron Fist’ Renewed & New Trailer For ‘The Defenders’!
Whilst I think it would be fair to say, ‘Iron Fist‘ was probably the worst received of Marvel/Netflix’s first batch of shows, but I don’t think it comes as much of a surprise that it’s been given a 2nd season. God of Marvel TV, Jeph Loeb (that really should be his official title), made the announcement today during a panel at SDCC, along with dropping some other major bits for fans.
Marvel/Netflix were pulling out all the stops for con-goers this year. Not only did they air a teaser clip from Jon Bernthal’s upcoming series ‘The Punisher’, but they then went and screened the entire first episode of ‘The Defenders’!
Obviously, ‘The Defenders‘ is not available to us non-comic con attending mortals until the 18th August, however they have uploaded a brand new trailer, which you can watch below…

Not only does the trailer give us more of the blind ninja, smart-ass detective, bulletproof ex-con, and Kung Fu billionaire, we also have some other familiar faces. Stick and Electra both return, along with newcomer to the franchise, Sigourney Weaver, as (the clearly evil) Alexandra!
‘The Defenders’ launches globally on Netflix from 18th August 2017.
