Netflix has released the first trailer for it’s brand new serial-killer drama Mindhunter, which lands on the streaming service from Friday, 13th October, 2017.

Posing the question “How do we get ahead of crazy if we don’t know how crazy thinks?.,” Jonathan Groff (‘Glee’, ‘Frozen’, ‘Looking’) & Holt McCallany (‘Blue Bloods’, ‘CSI: Miami’, ‘Heroes’) star as 2 FBI agents who set out on a sinister investigative odyssey to discover the brutal answers. As members of the FBI’s Behavioural Sciences Unit, they start to interview serial killers in an effort to help solve crimes. Anna Torv (‘Fringe’) and Hannah Gross (‘Unless’) also star.

The series has lined up a stellar list of people behind the camera including David Fincher (‘Gone Girl’, ‘Zodiac’), Asif Kapadia (‘Amy’, ‘Senna’), Tobias Lindholm (‘A War’, ‘A Hijacking’) and Andrew Douglas (‘The Amityville Horror’, ‘U Want Me 2 Kill Him?’), who will all direct episodes.

Fincher, Joshua Donen (‘Gone Girl’, ‘The Quick and the Dead’), Charlize Theron (‘Girlboss’, ‘Hatfields & McCoys’) and Cean Chaffin (‘Gone Girl’, ‘Fight Club’) are serving as Exec Producers.

Pitched as a cross between ‘Criminal Minds‘ and ‘Silence of the Lambs’, if you like you’re crime dramas dark and gritty, Mindhunter is definitely going to be one to watch out for when it arrives on Netflix from Friday, 13th October, 2017.
