‘The Magicians’ Renewed For Season 4
Quentin and the gang will be back for a 4th Season it has been announced, as ‘The Magicians‘ get renewed for a new series.
Based upon Lev Grossman’s best-selling books, ‘The Magicians’ stars Jason Ralph (‘A Most Violent Year,’ ‘Aquarius’) as Quentin Coldwater, a brilliant grad student who enrols in Brakebills College for Magical Pedagogy, a secret upstate New York University specializing in magic. He and his 20-something friends soon discover that the magical fantasy world they read about as children is all too real – and poses a grave danger to humanity. Stella Maeve (‘Chicago P.D.’), Hale Appleman (‘Teeth’), Arjun Gupta (‘Nurse Jackie’) and Summer Bishil (‘Towelhead,’ ‘Lucky 7’) also star.
It’s not exactly a big shock to see the show being renewed, as it’s performing incredibly well for it’s US commisioning network Syfy, especially in the coveted 18-49 demographic.
Over here, in the UK, we’re still waiting for 5Star to schedule Season 3… When it does eventually return, we see the action pick up a little after the Season 2 finale cliffhanger. As it did in Season 2, the show is taking a major turn once again, as magic is gone. Our intrepid group of heroes are now on an epic journey to restore that power back to the world.
