We may be covered in a blanket of snow in the UK right now, but that’s just a good excuse to settle down in front of the tv and watch some of the great new and returning series coming to our screens in the next month. Here is our pick of the top shows you should be watching out for in March 2018.

Agents of SHIELD, Season 5 – E4 – 04 March 2018 at 9pm

After a bit of a wait on this side of the Atlantic, Agents of SHIELD finally returns to E4. If you remember, at the end of last season the team were having a nice celebratory lunch after finally beating ADIA, only to be frozen, closing with a shot of Coulson apparently on some sort of space station! Season 5 picks up straight after that, as he comes into contact with the vessel’s inhabitants, it becomes abundantly clear that something has gone terribly awry. The team must figure out their role, delving deeper into this nightmarish mystery to try to right what has gone incredibly wrong.

Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why. The case gets even more personal than ever before, so fueled by a myriad of questions and lies, she will do whatever it takes to uncover the truth.

SEAL Team, Season 1 – Sky1 – March 2018

Coming to Sky One, David Boreanaz (‘Angel’, ‘Bones’) and Jessica Paré (‘Mad Men’) star in ‘SEAL Team’, a new US drama that follows the professional and personal lives of the most elite unit of Navy SEALs as they train, plan, and execute the most dangerous, high stakes missions our country can ask of them. Jason Hayes (Boreanaz) is the respected, intense leader of the Tier One team whose home life has suffered as a result of his extensive warrior’s existence. His team includes his trusted confidant, Ray Perry (Neil Brown Jr. – ‘Insecure’, ‘Straight Outta Compton’), the longest-tenured operator with whom Jason shares an ingrained shorthand, and Sonny Quinn (A. J. Buckley – ‘CSI: NY’, ‘Murder in the First’), an exceptional, loyal soldier with a checkered past who still combats self-destructive tendencies. Undergoing additional rigorous training in the hope of joining Hayes’ select unit is Clay Spenser (Max Thieriot – ‘Bates Motel’, ‘Point Break’), a young, multi-lingual second generation SEAL with insatiable drive and dedication.

Both men are still determined to destroy the other, but must also battle for their own survival amid new forces and powerful enemies. Wendy Rhoades (Maggie Siff) Chuck’s wife and Axe’s performance coach, is all in for both of them, an uneasy and dangerous position for her, and one that ultimately puts her to a decision that could alter the direction of her life irrevocably.

Watch in horror as the dastardly Count Olaf (Neil Patrick Harris), torments Violet (Malina Weissman), Klaus (Louis Hynes) and Sunny (Presley Smith) once again, as he attempts to get his hands on their inheritance.
