Fox UK Picks Up ‘Stan Against Evil’ & ‘Brockmire’, Premiering Tonight!

Two UK tv premieres completely slipped by under the radar, but thanks to one eagle-eyed Geektowner (thanks Scott!) we thought you might like to know Stan Against Evil & Brockmire have both been picked up by Fox UK and air tonight!

‘Stan Against Evil’ follows Stan Miller (‘Scrubs’ star John C. McGinley), a perpetually disgruntled former sheriff of a small New England town who was forced into retirement. Stan has trouble relinquishing his authority to Evie Barret (Janet Varney – ‘You’re the Worst’), the tough and beautiful new sheriff in town, but they form an unlikely alliance when both begin to realise things are not quite right in their quaint New England town. Together, they valiantly fight a plague of unleashed demons that have been haunting the town, which just happens to be built on the site of a massive 17th-century witch burning.

‘Brockmire’ stars Hank Azaria (‘The Simpsons’, ‘Huff’) Jim Brockmire, as a famed major league baseball announcer who suffers an embarrassing and very public meltdown live on the air after discovering his beloved wife’s serial infidelity. A decade later, Jim decides to reclaim his career and love life in a small American rust belt town that has seen better days, calling minor league baseball games for the Morristown Frackers. The struggling team is led by Jules (Amanda Peet – ‘The Good Wife’), the strong-willed, hard-drinking owner and Charles (Tyrel Jackson Williams – ‘Lab Rats’), the naïve but enthusiastic team intern.

Stan Against Evil‘ premieres in the UK at 11.30pm tonight (Thursday, 12th April 2018) at 11.30pm followed by ‘Brockmire‘ which airs at 12am (midnight.)
