This Year’s Arrowverse ‘Batwoman’ Crossover Will Also Feature Superman & Lois Lane
Whilst the Legends maybe missing from this year’s Arrowverse crossover, ‘The Flash‘, ‘Arrow‘ and ‘Supergirl‘ will have some additional help in the from of Superman and Lois Lane!
We already know the crossover event will see the introduction of Ruby Rose as Gotham’s female Dark Knight, as Barry, Ollie and Kara head off to her hometown. However, it would seem Tyler Hoechlin is set to join them as he reprises his role as the Man Of Steel, and will introduce his Daily Planet co-worker, Lois Lane.
“We couldn’t be more excited to introduce Lois Lane to the Arrowverse,” commented Supergirl exec producers Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner. “This dogged, determined and brave reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman and amazing addition to our universe of DC characters.”
We have already seen Lucy Lane’s (Jenna Dewan) and father General Sam Lane (Glenn Morshower) in ‘Supergirl’, but as yet haven’t met the more famous sibling in the Arrowverse, although she has been mentioned numerous times. The 3-night crossover event seeks to rectify that. There’s no announcement on casting yet, but given they will need to be shooting the crossover fairly soon, it can’t be that far off.
The Arrowverse crossover is set to air December 9th, 10th and 11th on the CW in the US, with ‘The Flash’ and ‘Supergirl’ switching nights for that week. We know the DC shows are due back in October on Sky One in the UK, but it’s hard to say exactly when the crossover will land here, as it depends how far behind the US they begin airing the various series. As has previously been reported, the Legends are missing this year’s crossover, mainly due to organising these things being a massive logistical nightmare for the production.
‘The Flash‘, ‘Arrow‘, ‘Supergirl‘ and (probably*) ‘Legends Of Tomorrow‘ return to Sky One in October 2018.
*Legends returns late Oct with the other 3 shows return early Oct in the US. The information we currently have from Sky is that all 4 will be back in October, however, we might see Legends slip to November depending on the US scheduling breaks. We’ll let you know when we have exact dates.
