First Trailer & Poster Land For ‘Hellboy’ Starring David Harbour
As I’m sure many of you are aware, ‘Hellboy’ is returning to cinemas for a new outing next year with an all-new cast, and new man under the horns.
From the pages of Mike Mignola’s seminal work, this action-packed story sees the legendary half-demon superhero (David Harbour – ‘Stranger Things’) called to the English countryside to battle a trio of rampaging giants. There he discovers The Blood Queen, Nimue (Milla Jovovich, Resident Evil series), a resurrected ancient sorceress thirsting to avenge a past betrayal. Suddenly caught in a clash between the supernatural and the human, Hellboy is now hell-bent on stopping Nimue without triggering the end of the world.
Joining Harbour in the cast are Ian McShane (‘Deadwood’, ‘American Gods’) as Professor Bruttenholm, Daniel Dae Kim (‘Hawaii Five-0’, ‘Lost’) as Ben Daimio, and Sasha Lane (‘American Honey’) Alice Monaghan.
This is the 3rd time Hellboy has made it to the cinema screen. The first two outings saw the (let’s be honest… perfectly cast) Ron Perlman as the big red demon under the direction of Guillermo del Toro. The new iteration sees ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Westworld’ director Neil Marshall takes the reins behind the camera. The script comes from ‘A Town Called Eureka’ creator Andrew Cosby, alongside original comic book creator, Mike Mignola.
‘Hellboy’ arrives in UK cinemas on Friday, 12th April 2019.
