FOX UK Set June Premiere Date For ‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Season 5
FOX UK has set a June premiere date for Season 5 of the recently renewed ‘NCIS: New Orleans‘ it announced today.
‘NCIS: New Orleans’ takes place in the local field office that investigates criminal cases involving military personnel in The Big Easy, a city known for its music, entertainment, and decadence. Leading the team is Special Agent Dwayne Pride (Scott Bakula), a.k.a. “King,” a native of New Orleans who is driven by his need to do what is right.
The mystery filled 5th season opens with Special Agent Pride fighting for his life in the intensive care unit after a foiled assassination attempt. The race is on as the NCIS team frantically scour the city in search of the hit-woman, but can they find her in time?
Later, with Pride on medical leave, the team are joined by Special Agent Hannah Khoury (Necar Zadegan – ’24’) to pick up where he left off. How will the team react to this newcomer, especially once they hear the news that Pride is considering an agency position?
It’s not just his recovery that Pride is tested by, as his reckless behaviour continues to get him into trouble. Will he be able to avoid acting rashly when he rejoins the team, or will the new personalities prove too much for him to handle? One thing’s for sure in the city with crime hiding around every corner, we’re in for a chaotic season on ‘NCIS: New Orleans’.
The ‘NCIS’ franchise is still going strong, as US network CBS recently picked up ‘NCIS: Los Angeles‘ for Season 11 and ‘NCIS: New Orleans‘ for Season 6. They join the main ‘NCIS’ series which was picked up in April for a 17th Season.
