Sky Atlantic & NOW TV Set August UK Premiere Date For HBO’s ‘Euphoria’ Starring Zendaya

Sky Atlantic and Now TV have today announced a UK air date for Season 1 of Sam Levinson’s highly acclaimed (and recently renewed) drama Euphoria this August.

The series following a group of high school students as they navigate love and friendships in a world of drugs, sex, trauma and social media. The series is executive produced by Drake, along with manager Future the Prince. The ensemble cast includes Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney (‘Sharp Objects’), Maude Apatow (‘Girls’), Jacob Elordi, Algee Smith, Alexa Demie, Barbie Ferreira, Hunter Schafer and Storm Reid.

Zendaya is probably best known to Disney Channel fans as K.C on the Disney series ‘K.C. Undercover’. More recently she starred in box office smash ‘The Greatest Showman’ playing acrobat, trapeze artist, Anne Wheeler, and plays M.J., in the current ‘Spider-man’ movie franchise.

‘Euphoria’ is an American adaptation of an Israeli show of the same name, and all episodes are written by Sam Levinson (‘Assassination Nation’), who also serves as executive producer. The series is produced in partnership with A24 (‘Lady Bird’, ‘Random Acts of Flyness’, ‘2 Dope Queens’, ‘Pod Save America’) and includes executive producers Ravi Nandan, Kevin Turen, Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein, Tmira Yardeni, Mirit Toovi, Yoram Mokadi and Gary Lennon. Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin, who created the Israeli series, also executive produce. The series also features an original score composed by singer/songwriter Labrinth.

Euphoria‘ Season 1 will air on Sky Atlantic weekly from Tuesday, 6th August 2019 at 10pm, with all episodes available via Sky On-Demand and NOW TV from 2am on that day.
