Geektown Radio 253: ‘Alien: Isolation’, ‘Alex Rider’ Reviews, Plus TV vs Coronavirus News, Renewals & UK TV Air Dates!

On the latest episode of the Geektown Radio podcast, I’m joined by Bex from Trista Bytes in the co-host chair to chat about our week in tv, film and gaming, plus we have all the weekly tv news, renewals and cancellations.

Reviewing the last 7 days in tv, film and gaming, Bex has been recovering from the traumatic experience thrust upon her by her lovely Twitch followers, of playing ‘Alien: Isolation’. Being a big scaredy-cat when it comes to all things horror, her fans voted that it would be an excellent idea for her to play through one of the most terrifying games based on one of the most terrifying movies out there, so she gives us her review of the game and the experience! She also gives us her thoughts on episode one of tv drama ‘Snowpiercer’. I have been playing the rather less terrifying ‘Satisfactory’, so I give an update on that, along with reviewing the brand new Amazon drama ‘Alex Rider’.

In the latest tv news, we chat about the latest casting developments in the ongoing ‘Batwoman’ saga, and give an update on the casting and production for Marvel’s ‘WandaVision’. In some additional gaming news, we also discuss the huge new ‘Odyssey’ expansion for ‘Elite Dangerous’.

On This Weeks Show:

  • I’m joined by Bex to review the movies, tv-series, and games we’ve been watching and playing over the past week.
  • We take a look at all the latest tv & film news, including all the renewals & cancellations.
  • We give you our recommendations for the upcoming TV in the next few weeks.
