Netflix Releases Trailer For ‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous’ Premiering September 2020
Netflix has released a new trailer for DreamWorks Animation upcoming series ‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous‘ which premieres on the streaming service this September.
Set against the timeline of the blockbuster film ‘Jurassic World’, ‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous’ follows a group of six teenagers trapped at a new adventure camp on the opposite side of Isla Nublar… Because a kids camp on an island filled with dinosaurs seems like a TOTALLY good idea! Although, weirdly, not out of character for the people running the park…
When the events of the film unfold and dinosaurs are unleashed across the island, each kid realises their very survival rests on the shoulders of themselves and their fellow campers. Unable to reach the outside world, our six teens will go from strangers to friends to family as they band together to survive the dinosaurs and uncover hidden secrets so deep they threaten the world itself.
Voice cast for the series includes Paul-Mikél Williams as Darius, Jenna Ortega as Brooklynn, Ryan Potter as Kenji, Raini Rodriguez as Sammy, Sean Giambrone as Ben, Kausar Mohammed as Yaz, Jameela Jamil as Roxie, and Glen Powell as Dave.
Scott Kreamer (‘Pinky Malinky’) and Aaron Hammersley (‘Star vs. the Forces of Evil’) serve as showrunners and executive producers. The series is executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow, Frank Marshall, Kreamer, Hammersley and Lane Lueras. DreamWorks Animation are the animation studio, with Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment as production companies.
Dave has over 20 years experience in the digital industry, and is founder and editor of Geektown. Obviously a huge geek himself, he can often be found in front of the latest tv show or movie, on various video games, or with his head in a comic book.
