Disney+ UK Set November Premiere Date For ‘Agents of SHIELD’ Season 7

Disney Plus UK has set a November premiere date for the 7th and final season of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD it has been announced. The series had previously aired on E4, but the channel opted on to pick up the final season, which left it without a UK broadcaster until now.

If you remember where left our intrepid heroes, Season 6 saw a bit of a change. Coulson was dead. Mack was running the team. Daisy and Simmons were trying to rescue Fitz in dead space, and portals were opening up on Earth, spitting out hostile strangers… one of whom seemed to have Coulson’s face! It turns out that the Chronicoms had decided they wanted to turn the planet into a new homeworld, Chronyca-3… This involved them attacking S.H.I.E.L.D. at different points in its history. Thinking this would probably not be a good idea, the team, with the help of rogue Chronicom Enoch (Joel Stoffer), manage to use the Zephyr to jump back in time. To help them figure out what the Chronicoms will do next, they activate a Life-Model Decoy of Coulson.

As we head into the final season, “Coulson” and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are thrust backwards in time and stranded in 1931 New York City. With the all-new Zephyr set to time-jump at any moment, the team must hurry to find out exactly what happened. If they fail, it would mean disaster for the past, present and future of the world

‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ stars Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, Henry Simmons, Natalia Cordova-Buckley, and Jeff Ward. The series was co-created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen, who also serve as executive producers along with Jeffrey Bell and Jeph Loeb.

Agents of SHIELD‘ Season 7 premieres Friday 13th November 2020 on Disney+ UK. Slightly annoyingly, they will only be releasing the first 2 episodes on that date, with the rest coming weekly each Friday… I suspect that is to stop people subscribing or using a free trial to binge it and then turning the streaming service off again. But hey, at least it is actually airing somewhere now!
