According to this https://www.whats-on-netflix.com/news/when-will-season-7-of-marvels-agents-of-shield-be-on-netflix-10-2020/ Season7 is coming to Netflix US on 30th October 2020, dunno if it will make it to the UK though. I’m not keen on stumping up another £6 a month to watch it on Disney+ so if it doesn’t turn up on Netflix then I’ll wait till it’s done and buy 1 month and binge-watch it!

UK it would be AMAZON prime not NETFLIX as never been on Netflix in the UK but always been free on Amazon prime after it finished airing on TV (reverse of the US). Good chance Amazon will get it same time or soon before/after Disney+ in the UK

Absolutely gutted. I asked E4 on Twitter when they were going to show Season 7 the final season. There reply was they weren’t going to show it and had no plans to show it in the future. I’m getting sick of watching shows for them to cancel it even worse for the end. They did the same with Supernatural we’ve had to fight tooth and nail to get it back on our screens. Then they wonder why viewers go else where. Not happy

Tommy👤 Guest July 2, 2020 - 3:10 pm

E4, through their 4viewers twitter, just responded to a question saying they have no plans to show Season 7. Do they have the rights to Season 7 and are sitting on it a la C5 with Gotham Season 3 or have they lost the rights to the show and we’re waiting for Disney+?

This is what I hate about networks. Why cant they just a/ be fair that they’ve lost the rites or b/ be straight with the viewer ship like they do in America and just let us know the date way in advance? Not letting us hanging like useless berries

Reply
Tvgooroo👤 Guest June 15, 2020 - 1:00 am

Wouldn’t be too sure about that James. E4 likes to double team shows on a Sunday – I would think it will take the Batwoman slot at the moment. Which wont be free for another two months. If it wants to show at the same pace as Supernatural (with a season and a half left) , it wont start before 15×08 – which takes us into September

I am still eagerly awaiting the UK premier of the final season, and would love an update.

Its all fully filmed and I would have thought E4 would want to air it sooner rather then later a) so we aren’t too far behind the States and b) so that they don’t have any gaps in their schedule caused by the pandemic…

Asked C4 the same question, three times now and no answer. If they broadcast E4 in HD on Freeview there would be no problem, but they don’t so I’m really angry. By time I realised it had gone to E4 I’d missed four episodes and I want it in HD! C4 said not a bloody word. So has C4HD lost it?

America are just coming to the end of a 3or4 month hiatus, but because we are so far behind here, there really doesn’t need to be a break.

Thanks in advance

Reply
Dave Elliott👑 Admin March 7, 2016 - 1:29 pm

Hi Charli,

I don’t believe it will. I think the reason for starting it much later this year was to remove that mid-season gap. Having said that, this is E4 – home of using the world cup approach to scheduling, by pulling shows out of a one hat, dates out of another, and times out of another, so anything is possible! ;)

Well after this I think I’ll start watching shows online as a lot of UK TV waists talent on usual dramas BBC and Chanel 4 etc which is sad because great shows like Merlin and the late unfairly cancelled Atlantis don’t get thought about in context it’s like crappy 90’s UK TV all over Gin and it’s really sad

I’ve worked out a theory that is probably stupid but oh well , AoS is being repeated on E4 everyday, and there are 44 episodes altogether, which means season 2 will finish on a Thursday in about 9 weeks. Friday is the normal AoS day in the UK which could mean they are getting ready for the new season because E4 is part of Channel 4? Just an idea.

Reply
Dave Elliott👑 Admin October 26, 2015 - 9:24 pm

That’s actually not a bad guess Jess. It would put it into very early Jan, which is a distinct possibility. That may, possibly, remove enough of the gaps they have in the US airing to allow them to run the show as a single block, rather than have a mid-season break like they usually have to. We’ll just have to wait and see what they do. :)

Reply
Storm👤 Guest October 30, 2015 - 2:26 pm

Hey Jess I strongly support your theory as I expect that Ao5 repeats finish on the 17 Dec, so I think that you think Ao5 should start on the 18 Dec. I know what you are think as the second episode would be on christ day, but I think it will start back on the 1 Jan and so when it is time for the US mid-season Premire we won’t have to wait like a month like we usally have to do.

Agent Carter season 2 is returning to the UK around Christmas and I can’t remember where I read it but it might have said that Carter would start during the AoS mid season break. So that could mean it’s on around October/ November time?!

Reply
Miles👤 Guest September 21, 2015 - 6:56 pm

Unlikely. Both Agent Carter and AoS are on different channels so won’t necessarily show them in U.S broadcast order. AC doesn’t start in the U.S until January and Fox may show it a week or so after to catch up with U.S scheduling. As for AoS, it looks like Channel 4 may not air it until 2016 let alone October.

Hi Miles,

I’ve jst managed to confirm that Channel 4 have got AoS Season 3, they just aren’t sure when it’ll air yet which is why it was missing from the list.

It’s not airing in the US till 29th Sept which means it’s later than last year. My guess is that they may be considering holding it back till the new year, because if they start it from late Jan/Feb, they could run it as a solid block with no breaks, and we’d catch up on the US as we go. Or they may just run it from Oct. Really depends what the breaks are like in the US schedule…

Cheers
Dave

“S.H.I.E.L.D. will be returning to Channel 4 most likely in March (exact date tbc). This is so that we can air the remainder of the series at one episode a week with no more breaks in between episodes.”

Great, MARCH? how on Earth are we supposed to wait until then? God Damn Channel 4!

Reply

Hi LJ,

That was in reference to the break they had to take post Christmas for season 1 this year, not the airing of season 2. If you notice, they refer to the ‘remainder of the series’ – aka the second half of season 1, not season 2.

Cheers,

Did AOS air at the same time as the US last time? IF so, I think it’s incredibly unfair that Channel 4 is forcing their fans to wait, while being teased with spoilers on social media websites constantly. Come on Channel 4, buck your ideas up!
