Syfy UK Sets January Premiere Date For ‘Pandora’ Season 2

Sci-fi drama Pandora is set to return for a 2nd Season this January on Syfy UK the broadcaster has announced.

Set in the year 2199, the sci-fi action series follows a resourceful young woman who has lost everything but finds a new life at Earth’s Space Training Academy where she and her friends learn to defend the Galaxy from threats, both alien and human. With time running out before the universe is annihilated by an enigmatic alien race, only a misfit band of heroes – the “Pandora,” Jax (Priscilla Quintana), along with her friends, Captain Xander Duvall (Oliver Dench) and the alien Ralen (Ben Radcliffe), can save us all from destruction.

One person you will be seeing more of in Season 2 is Tina Casciani, who plays Tierney, the ruthless leader of the criminal organization the Hypatia Syndicate, who has been upped to a series regular from a recurring character in Season 1. A daughter of the Howard Hughes-like industrialist, Harlan Fried, Tierney has long sought to break away from her father’s shadow by living on the wrong side of the law. Intelligent, conniving, and charming, Tierney always has a card up her sleeve, and a knife at the ready just in case.

Additional cast also includes Raechelle Banno as Atria Nine, John Harlan Kim as Greg Li, Banita Sandhu as Delaney Pilar, Martin Bobb-Semple as Thomas James Ross, and Noah Huntley as Professor Donovan Osborn.

‘Pandora’ is executive produced by Mark A. Altman (‘Castle’, ‘The Librarians’), Steve Kriozere (‘NCIS’, ‘Necessary Roughness’), Thomas P. Vitale (‘Slasher’), Karine Martin, Chris Philip, Phillip J. Roth and Jeffery Beach and produced by Radioactive Fishtank, Vital Signs Entertainment and Starlings Television.

Pandora‘ Season 2 premieres Thursday, 14th January 2021 at 9pm on Syfy UK.
