Geektown Radio 290: ‘Snyder Cut’, ‘Falcon & Winter Soldier’, ‘Invincible’ Reviews, Renewals & Cancellations, UK TV Air Dates!

On this week’s superhero-packed Geektown Radio podcast, Darryl from Hollywood North News joins me to chat through our week in tv, film & gaming, along with all the weekly tv news, renewals and cancellations!

We begin by reviewing the last 7 days in tv, film and gaming and it has been a big one for superheroes, with both Marvel and DC releasing big projects – WARNING – There are quite a few *spoilers* in the show this week, but they are flagged when we are going to talk spoilery stuff! First up, Darryl reviews ‘Invincible’, the upcoming animated series from ‘The Walking Dead’s Robert Kirkman which premieres later this week on Amazon. He also reviews Korean series ‘Rugal’ and ‘Sisyphus’, along with the films ‘Trust’ and ‘Skylin3s’. Meanwhile, I chat through Netflix’s ‘The Lost Pirate Kingdom’, and we both give our thoughts on the big releases – DC’s ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’, and Marvel’s ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’.

In the TV news, we have all the usual renewals, cancellations and pickups. We also discuss casting on The CW’s new DC Comics pilot ‘Naomi’, Lena Headey’s new sci-fi for AMC, casting for ‘The Witcher’ Season 2, and a familiar but new face joining ‘Batwoman’ Season 2. Listen below right now!

On This Weeks Show:

  • I’m joined by Darryl to review the movies, games, and tv shows we’ve been watching over the past week.
