We begin by reviewing the last 7 days in tv, film and gaming as Matt talks about STAR series ‘Love, Victor’, the video game ‘Oddworld: Soulstorm’, and gives a final chance to the much-maligned ‘Marvel’s Avengers’ game, as he attempts the multiplayer option… it does not go well. Meanwhile, I review the new Netflix superhero comedy ‘Thunder Force’, along with season reviews of ‘Resident Alien’ and ‘The Flight Attendant’. We also both discuss ‘Big Sky’ as it hits mid-season, and the bonkers world of ‘Riverdale’, which has apparently introduced aliens…
In the TV news, we have all the usual renewals, cancellations and pickups. We also discuss the major ‘Star Trek’ announcements from last week, a casting change in ‘The Witcher: Blood Origin’, and new casting in Marvel’s ‘She-Hulk’ series.
