Sky Witness Sets June Premiere For ‘9-1-1’ Season 4 & ‘9-1-1: Lone Star’ Season 2

Sky Witness has called the emergency services this June, as they set a date for both9-1-1 Season 4 and 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 2.

‘9-1-1’ and ‘9-1-1: Lone Star’ explore the high-pressure experiences of first responders, including police officers, firefighters and dispatchers, who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations in both LA and Texas. These emergency responders must try to balance saving those who are at their most vulnerable with solving the problems in their own lives. The show draws from real-life, high-pressure experiences of first responders who regularly face heart-stopping situations that are often unpredictable, intense and uplifting at the same time.

In the opening episode of ‘9-1-1’, the 118 races to save lives when the Hollywood Reservoir dam breaks and adjust to life as first responders during the pandemic. Meanwhile, Bobby worries if Athena is ready for field duty since recovering from her injuries.

‘9-1-1’ stars Angela Bassett (‘American Horror Story’), Peter Krause (‘Six Feet Under’), Oliver Stark (‘Into The Badlands’), Aisha Hinds (‘Under the Dome’), Kenneth Choi (‘The People v. O.J.’), Ryan Guzman (‘Pretty Little Liars’), Rockmond Dunbar (‘Prison Break’) and Jennifer Love Hewitt (‘Criminal Minds’).

Over in ‘9-1-1: Lone Star‘, the crew responds to a military tank on the loose and a human pile-up at the roller derby. New paramedic captain, Tommy Vega (Gina Torres), joins the team. Owen is reunited with his ex-wife (Lisa Edelstein – ‘House’) and receives an update on his cancer.

‘9-1-1: Lone Star‘ stars Rob Lowe (‘The West Wing’), Brian Michael Smith (‘The L Word: Generation Q’), Ronen Rubinstein (‘Orange Is The New Black’), Sierra McClain (‘Empire’), Julian Works and Jim Parrack (‘True Blood’). Joining them this season is Gina Torres (‘Suits’) as Paramedic Captain Tommy Vega, who was at the top of her game when she hung up her uniform to raise her twin daughters. For eight years life was great until COVID-19 changed her life. With her husband’s restaurant going under, Tommy has no choice but to re-enter the workforce to support her family. Though it breaks her heart to be apart from her little girls, Tommy will show the world that no matter how much time has passed, when she puts on that uniform, she’s still a boss.

Both series are created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, with and Tim Minear joining them for 9-1-1: Lone Star’. They are produced by 20th Television in association with Ryan Murphy Television and Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision.

9-1-1‘ Season 4 and ‘9-1-1: Lone Star‘ Season 2 premiere on Monday, 14 June 2021 at 9pm and 10pm on Sky Witness.
