BBC Two has set a July premiere date for Season 3 of biker gang drama ‘Mayans MC‘ it has been announced.
Co-created by ‘Sons Of Anarchy’s Kurt Sutter and ex-biker-turned-filmmaker Elgin James, the show continues the saga in a post-Jax Teller world. ‘Mayans M.C.’ follows the life of Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes (JD Pardo), a newly patched member of the Mayans M.C. charter on the Cali/Mexi border. Once the golden boy with the American Dream in his grasp, EZ and his brother Angel (Clayton Cardenas) are closer than ever after uncovering the truth behind their mother’s murder while their father Felipe (Edward James Olmos) struggles to reconcile the choices he and his sons have made.
As we head into Season 3, the border Mayans and their Californian town suffer as federal forces crackdown on all illegal activity, and grieving Galindo lets his legitimate project dry up too.
The series also stars Sarah Bolger (‘Into the Badlands’, ‘Once Upon a Time’), Raoul Max Trujillo (‘Jamestown’, ‘The Blacklist’), Michael Irby (‘SEAL Team’, ‘True Detective’, ‘Taken’), Richard Cabral (‘Lethal Weapon’, ‘American Crime’), Emilio Rivera (‘Sons of Anarchy’) and Sulem Calderon (‘One of the Good Ones’).
‘Mayans M.C.’ was co-created by Kurt Sutter and Elgin James. The series is executive produced by James, Kevin Dowling and Michael Dinner. Fox 21 Television Studios and FX Productions produce the drama, and it has been renewed for a 4th Season.
